Risk Management
Disability No one can predict the future or avoid the risk of a disability. Having a Group Long-Term Disability Plan through your employer is a great start but it may not be enough. Workplace disability benefits usually cover just a portion of your income - potentially leaving you underinsured in the event of a disability. As a part of the financial planning process a Mitchell & Company advisor can determine the effects of a disability on your financial health and your ability to reach your goals in the event you are unable to work due to an illness or injury. This is the first step in determining if a personal disability policy should be part of your financial plan.

Long-Term Care Estate Planning A properly executed estate plan can help you:
Goal Funding & College Planning In the process your D. Mitchell & Company Financial Advisor will work with you to set measurable financial goals and specific targets of what you want to achieve and when you want to achieve results. For example, instead of saying you want your children to attend “good” schools or you want to buy “a boat” when you retire, you need to quantify what “good” means or the kind of “boat” so that you’ll know when you’ve reached your goals. Financial planning is a dynamic process. At Mitchell & Company Financial we review your financial plan each year because your financial goals may change over time due to changes in your lifestyle or circumstances. We revisit and revise your financial plan as time goes by to reflect these changes so that you stay on track with your long-term goals.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and CFP (with flame logo), which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements. |
